About these calculators

Volume-to-weight conversion in the kitchen depends entirely on what you are measuring. A cup of all-purpose flour is about 120 g; a cup of granulated sugar is about 200 g; a cup of honey is over 330 g. A generic converter that ignores this is the reason recipes fail when translated between American and European measurements.

These converters work per ingredient, with densities for the staples, and handle recipe scaling so you can take a recipe for six and cook it for four without doing fractions in your head.
