Short version: ListCalc currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your calculator inputs never touch a cookie at all.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads — a login, a preference, or (on many sites, not this one) a tracking identifier. Similar technologies include localStorage and pixels; we use the term "cookies" for all of them here.

That's the complete list. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent because the site can't operate securely without them.
What we deliberately don't use
No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics or equivalents), no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting. Your calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser's memory and are never written to cookies, localStorage or our servers.
If advertising launches
We plan to fund ListCalc with clearly-labelled ads, likely via Google AdSense. When that happens:
- Google and its certified partners may set advertising cookies to serve and measure ads; where permitted, these may personalise ads based on your interests.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see a consent banner first, and non-personalised ads will be shown unless you agree otherwise. You'll be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time from a link in the footer.
- This policy and the table above will be updated the same day, with a changelog entry.

Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings, per-site or globally. Blocking our strictly necessary cookies has no effect on your experience as a visitor — the calculators work fine with all cookies disabled.
