Short version: ListCalc currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your calculator inputs never touch a cookie at all.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads — a login, a preference, or (on many sites, not this one) a tracking identifier. Similar technologies include localStorage and pixels; we use the term "cookies" for all of them here.

That is the complete list for the public site today. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent because the site cannot operate securely without them.
What we deliberately don't use
No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics or equivalents), no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting.
Your calculator inputs are never written to a cookie. They are processed in your browser, and the values you last entered are kept in your browser's own local storage so they are still there when you come back — that stays on your device. Saved calculations reach our servers only if you have an account and have deliberately turned on cloud sync; the privacy policy sets out exactly what that involves.
If advertising launches
We plan to fund ListCalc with clearly-labelled ads, likely via Google AdSense. When that happens:
- Google and its certified partners may set advertising cookies to serve and measure ads; where permitted, these may personalise ads based on your interests.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see a consent banner first, and non-personalised ads will be shown unless you agree otherwise. You'll be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time from a link in the footer.
- This policy and the table above will be updated the same day, with a changelog entry.

Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings, per-site or globally. Blocking our strictly necessary cookies has no effect on your experience as a visitor — every calculator works fine with all cookies disabled. Signing in to an account is the only thing that needs them.
