Educational estimates, not professional advice

Everything on ListCalc — every calculator, result, article and FAQ — is provided for general information and education. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, nutritional, engineering or other professional advice, and using this site does not create any professional or client relationship with us.

Financial calculators

Our finance tools (mortgage, loan/EMI, compound interest, salary and others) use standard published formulas, but real products differ: lenders apply their own rounding, day-count conventions, fees, insurance and rate changes; tax treatment varies by country and person. A result here is a planning estimate — the figures in your loan agreement, bank statement or payslip always govern. We are not a lender, broker or financial adviser, and nothing here is an offer or recommendation of any financial product.

Health calculators

Our health tools (BMI, calorie/TDEE and others) use published population formulas such as the WHO BMI index and the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. They cannot account for your medical history, medications, body composition or individual circumstances, and they are not designed for children, during pregnancy, or for diagnosing or treating any condition. Never use them as a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician or registered dietitian, and never delay seeking medical care because of something a calculator showed you.

Construction, electrical and solar calculators

Trade calculators provide rough planning quantities. Building work, electrical installations and solar systems are governed by local codes and regulations and typically require licensed professionals. Calculators inform; codes and professionals govern.

Accuracy

We verify every calculator against reference values before release (see our methodology), but we can't guarantee results are error-free, current or fit for your specific purpose. Everything is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. If you spot a discrepancy, please tell us — we fix confirmed issues quickly.
