Terms of Use

Plain-English rules for using ListCalc. Using the site means you accept them.
1. What ListCalc provides
ListCalc offers free, browser-based calculators and educational articles. Results are estimates for information, education and planning only.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, dietary, engineering or other professional advice, and no professional–client relationship is created by using it. Real-world outcomes depend on facts our tools cannot see — lender criteria, your health history, local codes and regulations. Always verify important figures with a qualified professional before acting on them.
3. Accuracy
We work hard to keep formulas correct (see our methodology) but provide the site "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Standards, rates and regulations change; a calculator may be out of date at any moment.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to disrupt or overload the service; probe or breach its security or administrative areas; scrape the site at abusive volume; use it for unlawful purposes; or misrepresent our results as professional certification of anything.
5. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and branding are owned by ListCalc and protected by copyright. You're welcome to link to any page and to use results and small excerpts with attribution. Wholesale copying of pages or republishing our content as your own is not permitted.
6. Accounts
An account is optional and free — every calculator works fully without one. If you create one, give an accurate email address, keep your password to yourself, and understand that you are responsible for what happens under your account. Don't create an account for someone else without their permission, and don't use accounts to get around limits on the service. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is used abusively, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.
7. ListCalc Premium
ListCalc Premium is a planned optional paid subscription. It is not available to buy yet; the terms in this section will apply when it launches. It would remove advertising and add cloud sync across your devices. It never puts a calculator, a result or an explanation behind a paywall — the free site stays complete, and that is a deliberate commitment rather than a current state of affairs.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the plan you choose and renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. Payment is taken by an external payment provider acting as merchant of record, whose own terms apply to the transaction; applicable taxes may be added.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds. If Premium isn't what you expected, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it. After that we don't generally refund part-used periods. Statutory cancellation and refund rights you have where you live are not affected by anything in this section.
- Price changes. We may change prices, but never for a period you have already paid for. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a renewal at a new price, so you can cancel first.
- If we discontinue Premium. We will refund the unused portion of your current period.
8. Embedding our calculators
You may embed ListCalc calculators on your own site using the embed code we provide, free of charge, as long as you keep the ListCalc attribution intact and don't alter the calculation or present the tool as your own. We record which domains embeds load on and may block any that abuse the service.
9. Third-party links and advertising
Pages may link to external sites we don't control and aren't responsible for. Pages may also carry advertising, clearly marked as such; advertisers are responsible for their own content. How we place ads and the limits we hold ourselves to are set out in how ListCalc is paid for.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ListCalc and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Apart from any Premium fees you have paid us, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, where ListCalc is operated. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the country where you live.
12. Changes
We may update the site and these terms at any time; the effective date above tells you when they last changed. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Where a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will give notice before it takes effect.
